Sandpoint Wells

Sandpoint well headSandpoint wells; also known as driven point wells, are typically installed in areas where access to the aquifer is within 40 feet of the surface and the ground is composed predominantly of sand. Sandpoint wells are particularly susceptible to contamination through ground penetration and runoff, making them a less desirable choice if other options exist.

Sandpoint wells are installed by driving or injecting a pointed head through the sandy soil. Continuous-slot stainless steel screened Sandpoint’s will provide the most efficient, trouble-free service for the longest time. The point is driven on the end of the of a pipe (1-2″ diameter). The pipe will be sectional allowing new lengths to be added on as the Sandpoint is driven deeper.
